Welcome to Nanisha's web site

Nanisha is the name of service robot designed and constructed in the Laboratory of Robotics and Control of Popular Autonomous University of Puebla State (UPAEP), for pupils of engineering in computation, mechanics and electronics. The service robot has a control system to performance the mobility in its environment, a vision system for the recognition of objects and to follow a person, a system of voice's synthesis and recognition to interact with humans, a ultrasound sensors' system for the avoid of obstacles, and a knowledge control system to planning, navigate and accomplish the activities entrusted by the human users.

Principally Nanisha was developed in order that researchers and UPAEP's students try and experiment with new algorithms on different subareas of the artificial intelligence. That is why, a forum to show the technological and scientific developments, are congresses and national and international contests, such as the Mexican Contest of Robotics and the RoboCUP.
